We are the creators of a true, original Universal Lightbox featuring easily swappable Glow Panesâ„¢.
Our designs combine creativity, craftsmanship, and interactivity. With customizable coloring options and unique themes, each piece becomes a personal work of art—not just decor.
What is a 3D printed lightbox?
A 3D printed lightbox is a decorative display that uses layered panels and LED lighting to create a glowing image. Each design is carefully printed to highlight depth, shadows, and fine details when illuminated.
What is a Glow Paneâ„¢ and how does it work?
Our Glow Panes are a unique style of lithopane - a special type of 3D print that reveals an image when light shines through it. Thicker areas block more light (appearing darker), while thinner areas glow brighter—creating a detailed image using light and depth.
Are your products handmade or machine-made?
Our products are created using advanced 3D printing technology, but each piece is carefully finished by hand. From setup and quality checks to assembly and packaging, every item receives personal attention to ensure it meets our standards. This blend of precision and craftsmanship allows us to deliver detailed, high-quality designs that are truly one of a kind.
What materials do you use?
Most of our products are made using high-quality PLA filament, a durable and lightweight material commonly used in 3D printing. It provides excellent detail and a smooth finish for glowing designs.
Some products may be made with PETG, a common UV and impact resistant material similar to PLA.

What is PLA?
PLA (Polylactic Acid) is a type of plastic commonly used in 3D printing. It’s known for its smooth finish, durability, and ability to capture fine details, making it ideal for our lightbox designs.
PLA is made from renewable resources like corn starch or sugarcane, making it a more environmentally friendly alternative to many traditional plastics.
While it is not biodegradable under typical household conditions, it is designed to have a lower environmental impact.
Are the lightboxes safe to leave on?
Yes! Our lightboxes use low-heat LED lighting, making them safe for extended use. As with any electronic product, we recommend turning them off when not in use for long periods.
How bright are the lights?
Our lightboxes use dimmable COB (Chip-On-Board) LED lighting, which provides a smooth, even glow without harsh hotspots. You can easily adjust the brightness to fit your space, whether you want a soft ambient light or a brighter display to highlight the design.
Do the panels come pre-assembled or DIY?
Our panels require simple assembly, designed to be quick and frustration-free. Each piece easily fits together with no tools needed, so you can have your lightbox set up and glowing in just a few minutes.

Coloring & Customization
Can I color the Glow Panes myself?
Yes! Many of our designs are made specifically to be colored, giving you a creative, hands-on experience. It’s part of what makes each piece uniquely yours.
What markers or supplies work best?
We recommend water-based or alcohol-based markers for the best color payoff and smooth application. Colored pencils, crayons, or fine-tipped permanent markers can also be used.
Are the Glow Panes reusable once colored?
Coloring is permanent, so each piece becomes your own custom creation. If you'd like to try different styles, we recommend purchasing additional panels.
Do you offer pre-colored options?
Yes! We offer select Glow Panes designs in color, allowing you to enjoy a vibrant, ready-to-display piece without needing to color it yourself. It’s a great choice if you’re looking for a finished look right out of the box while still capturing the glow and detail of our designs.
Can I request a custom design or image?
Yes! We offer custom design options where you can turn your own image or idea into a unique lightbox or Glow Panes. Whether it’s a photo, a special theme, or a personalized concept, we’ll work with you to create something truly one of a kind. Contact us with your request, and we’ll guide you through the process.

How detailed are the designs (difficulty level)?
Our designs range from simple to highly detailed. We label them by difficulty level so you can choose something quick and relaxing or more intricate and immersive.
Are these suitable for kids or adults?
Our products are best suited for ages 13 and up. They offer a fun and creative experience for teens and adults alike, with designs ranging from simple to more detailed for a relaxing, hands-on activity.
This product is intended for ages 13+. It has not been tested for children under 12 and is not recommended for unsupervised use by younger individuals.

Shipping & Processing
How long does it take to make my order?
Our items are made to order. Processing for made-to-order typically takes 7 to 10 business days depending on demand and customization.

When will my order ship?
Once your item is completed, it will ship promptly. You’ll receive a tracking number as soon as your order is on the way.
Do you offer expedited shipping?
Yes! We offer a variety expedited shipping for an additional fee. Estimated Delivery Times are listed at the time of checkout.
How are items packaged to prevent damage?
We carefully package each order to ensure it arrives safely using a double-box method. Items are securely placed in fitted packaging, surrounded by recyclable honeycomb wrap, and then placed in a larger shipping box. This ensures your order has the best chance to arrive to your door safe and sound (even during those busy shipping holidays).
Do you ship internationally?
We do not offer internationally shipping at this time.
Will I receive tracking information?
Yes, every order comes with tracking information. Tracking information appears on the Order Status page, in the shipping confirmation email, and in the Shop app.

How do I assemble the lightbox?
Are these beginner friendly?
Yes! Whether you’re new to crafting or experienced, our products are designed to be enjoyable at any skill level.
Do I need any tools?
No tools are required. Our designs are made for easy, frustration-free setup. Just a few quick snaps and a slide, and you are ready to display your new beautiful lightbox!
What power source does it use?
All of our lightboxes use USB-powered LED lights for convenience and energy efficiency. USB adapter is NOT included with the lightbox.

What type of light source do lightboxes use?
We use a COB-style LED strip that provides superior brightness, compact size, high energy efficiency, and improved thermal management compared to traditional LEDs.
Can I hang it on a wall?
Yes, you can convert your lightbox to a wall hanging units quickly. Unclip the feet and adhere your preferred brand of wall mounting strips. We suggest at least 10lb hanging strength or more. Follow manufacturer's guidelines for wall mounting strips.

Can I display it on a table?
Yes! Every lightbox comes with 2 feet. Just clip them in place and set on any flat, even surface. Voila! Your awesome lightbox is ready to go.

Absolutely! Our lightboxes make unique, creative gifts that combine art and light. Perfect for birthdays, holidays, or special occasions.
Do you offer gift wrapping or notes?
We do not offer Gift Wrapping at this time. We hope to offer this feature in the near future.
Can I ship directly to someone else?
Yes! You can ship directly to your recipient. Just enter their address at checkout.

What is your return policy?
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Do you accept cancellations?
Yes - cancellations are accepted within 24 hours of placing your order. After that time, production may have already begun, and we’re unable to cancel the order. If you need to make a change, please contact us as soon as possible.
What if my item arrives damaged?
If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 3 days of delivery with clear photos of the damage and packaging. We require this proof to process a replacement or resolution and will work with you to make it right as quickly as possible.
